Taşkın Temiz brings extensive experience in public finance and financial policy formulation and execution, financial and risk management, corporate governance, economic development, international financial institutions, and economic diplomacy.

Having actively participated in numerous structural reform efforts in public administration and public finance since joining the Undersecretariat of Turkish Treasury in 1998, Mr. Temiz had worked on the restructuring of state-owned enterprises as well as enhancing the effectiveness of public cash, debt, and risk management, corporate governance, and public financial asset-liability management. Serving as a board member at the Central Securities Depository Inc. (MKK) and the General Directorate of Agricultural Enterprises (TİGEM), Mr. Temiz also served on various technical committees such as the Tax Council and TOBB-Capital Markets Council, and has been elected as a member of the Steering Committee of the Public Debt Management Working Group of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

After serving as Director General of Public Finance and Deputy Undersecretary from 2012 to 2016, Mr. Temiz worked at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) between 2016 and 2020 in Washington and London as an executive and resident board director. He demonstrated expertise and leadership in shaping, guiding, and implementing critical economic and financial decisions at both national and international levels.

In addition to his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Boğaziçi University (İstanbul), Mr. Temiz pursued his master’s degree at Cornell University (NY, Ithaca) abroad. With his extensive knowledge and experience in financial markets, international financial relations, corporate finance, sustainable economic development and macroeconomics, Mr. Temiz plays a significant role in empowering and guiding our clients amidst the challenges and uncertainties of global and local financial markets.
